Dick Van Strallen Surfcraft was born in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia in 1969. While he began shaping boards as a teenager on the Northern Beaches of New South Wales, it was after he moved further north that Dick Van Strallen ( DVS ) began to find a real following as an exceptionally creative shaper.
