You too, Dunlop?

As the car gets older, you will be forced to replace consumable parts.

It is common for maintenance of appearance to become overlooked.

Even so, it would be better if they replaced the consumables.

If you leave it riding without replacing it, it will really become a problem.

The items replaced after the BP5 was brought into Alternative Mart as a sales vehicle are as follows:

・Transmission oil

One day, the gears suddenly started to get harder to shift, and I thought, "This is bad," but

Nowadays, few car accessory stores stock manual transmission gear oil.

After running around desperately, I finally found what I was looking for and used up almost all of the store's stock.

Immediately after the change, I was surprised at how smooth the gears were,

After a while it goes back to its usual slightly bitter taste.

・Engine oil

This was a complete oil filter change, as the details of the previous change were unknown.

Including the filter, 4.3L is required, so I chose EDGE 5W30, which is sold by weight.

Again, I was surprised at how quiet the emblem was immediately after the change, but I got used to it after a while.

Other things that bother me are that the belt sometimes makes a slight noise and the suspension and mounts.

The shock that I thought was okay at first

I've been feeling the roll more strongly lately.

Since I had to make quite a lot of corrections when going straight, the bushings and alignment were probably bad too.

Speaking of alignment, it is something you do when you change to new tires, but

The error between the speedometer and the dashcam is quite large at high speeds.

I think the current tires are quite worn out.

In that case, should I change the tires first before the 12-month inspection?

I currently have the previous generation Dunlop DIREZZA, DZ101, and have no complaints about it.

I want to use this tire until the very end.

When I checked it...

Dunlop,

You too?

Well, if you hit something with this, it will burst immediately (I've experienced this).

It seems that the rubber on the side collapsed naturally.

It was the same with the Pirellis on the 240, but modern tires can't be used to the very end.

Looking at the year of manufacture, it's also less than four years old.

At this point, I'm afraid to use tires that are old, even if they are new.

So what to do about the next tire...

・Asian brands

I can't help but feel uneasy about this car.

Potenza

Overkill for current usage

・Pirelli

It feels kind of half-baked...

In the end, it was the successor to the DZ101.

I decided on DZ102 lol
