Marc Andreini has been designing and shaping custom surfboards for over 40 years. He started shaping in the 60s and was influenced by Reynolds Yeator and George Greenough, and is also a central figure in the recent revival of edgeboards. In the United States, where surfing is extremely popular, it is said that the delivery time for his boards can take more than a year.
The Vaquero is Andreini's masterpiece, and this model is also influenced by Greenough. The egg-shaped outline and low rocker, the soft rails that are thicker than the hull, and the bottom that changes from convex to tri-plane to flat make it suitable for all conditions all year round. This model is recommended for a wide range of people, from beginners to alternative boards to experts who know the board inside and out.
