Originally from California, Christenson started shaping at the age of 17 and was influenced by Dick Brewer and Skip Frye. He then established his own style and became a driving force behind the alternative board boom. He currently produces and sells his own brand on a global scale. NAUTILUS was designed to fill the missing link in alternative boards, such as mid-length and shorter performance boards. It is a concept model that Chris, who is particular about speed, remodeled with the image of his hobby, snow surfing.
There are small scratches and signs of use, foot marks on the deck, a very small dent on the bottom, traces of professional repairs on the rails, and a very small chip on the fin, but the boat is usable as is.
