Dave Parmenter is a California-born shaper/surf journalist who has been shaping since the 1970s. He has been making surfboards based on his own ideas long before the current alternative board boom. His boards have influenced not only California surfers, but also Australian surfers Andrew Kidman, Neil Purchase Jr., and world champion Stephanie Gilmore. The Widow Maker is a fin design that has less resistance than traditional tri-fins and is designed to bring out a feeling closer to a single fin. The thick down rails and diamond tail allow you to enjoy surfing with good response and extension from small waves to large waves.
There are foot marks in the center of the tail, thin cracks near the stringers, scratches in various places that prevent water from entering, and dents on the rails near the side fins, but with proper maintenance it is in good condition and can still be used for a long time.
