Dennis Ryder, who started shaping in 1963, worked for Morey Pope with the early members of Wilderness Surfboards and later helped launch Wilderness Surfboards. He is the last big name in the hull world. He built his first Greenough-based hull in 1968 and continued to ride hulls from then until 1983. The New Hull has a redesigned outline to ride at a shorter length than the Retro Hull. If you are looking for a purer hull taste that is easy to handle, this model is not to be missed.
