The Hydro Hull is Dick Van Straalen's signature fish model, and its distinctive feature is the deep concave on both the deck and bottom. The deck concave ensures stability when paddling and riding, and the bottom concave that connects the convex to the triplane single brings out amazing lift even from small and junk waves, allowing for faster takeoffs while other surfers struggle. Even when the board gets bigger, it doesn't lose control, allowing you to enjoy comfortable high-speed surfing in a wide range of conditions. The use of EPS material in the foam provides numerous benefits, including reduced paddle load, faster takeoffs, and better shoulder movement.
The condition is such that the resin has yellowed, there are shallow foot marks, scratches that water cannot penetrate, very little hot coat peeling on the deck surface, and there are traces of professional repairs on the rails, but the boat can still be used as is.
