Matt Grote, based in Hermosa Beach, California, started skateboarding at age 5 and surfing at age 11. When he moved to San Francisco, he met Mark Andreini, who taught him about surfing history, the world of alternative boards, and shaping. His boards, influenced by various surfers from the shortboard revolution era, are a must-see in California today.
The Edge Fish is an edge board based on his original fish template, and is easier to handle than a single fin edge board with a flex fin. It retains the characteristics of an edge board, such as the speed of paddle and take-off, and the high action performance, and even first-time surfers can enjoy it without feeling uncomfortable.
The condition is good with only slight sun damage, signs of use, small scratches, and a few foot marks. The bottom is clean and can be used as is.
