Joel Tudor Surfboards' twin fins have had a huge impact on the current alternative board scene, from the revival of classic longboards to the Duct Tape series. After leaving HPD, Joel established his own brand and has produced a variety of boards with many famous shapers. This board was shaped by Tom Every, who also shaped the Lightning Bolt.
This twin fin is inspired by Mark Richards' MR Twin, and the winged outline continues the image of the time. The bottom has been updated since then, with a vee-single-double-reverse vee-vee from the nose. The rails are thick and down-shaped, and are on-fin. Combined with the thin outline and strong nose rocker, it matches well with hollow waves. The coloring is a red tint, and it has been carefully gloss polished. Tom Every hardly shapes boards these days, so this board is also a valuable collector's item.
There are thumb-sized foot marks along the stringers of the deck. There is a small dent the size of a pinky finger on the bottom. There are also dents and scratches on the whole board due to waxing, storing it in a hard case, and use in the ocean, but it can be used as is.
