Klaus Jones grew up in the San Fernando Valley with Greg Riddle, and they share the same generation of shaping spirit. Klaus' boards have always had nifier rails and less board volume than Riddle's. Because he is committed to hand shaping and has slowed down production compared to before, it is expected that Klaus' boards will be more difficult to obtain than Riddle's in the future.
La Maquina (formerly Dirt) is Steve Krajewski's signature model, and can be considered the Klaus Jones version of Death Machine. The S-deck, long rail line, and reduced volume compared to the Death Machine provide ultimate performance for selected waves.
