Klaus Jones grew up in the San Fernando Valley with Greg Riddle, and they share the same generation of shaping spirit. Klaus' boards have always had nifier rails and less board volume than Riddle's. Because he is committed to hand shaping and has slowed down production compared to before, it is expected that Klaus' boards will be more difficult to obtain than Riddle's in the future.
Siglo is the most hardcore model in the Klaus Jones hull lineup. The rails and S deck are sharpened to the maximum extent that they surpass the Death Machine of Riddle, the bottom changes from convex to flat, and the outline with an aspect ratio described as a standing version of Vero is all prepared for speed. This board is a custom-made specification that scales up the Siglo, which is usually only produced up to 6'6.
