Koz McRae grew up in Santa Barbara surrounded by his uncle who was a shaper and George Greenough who made boats on the roadside. After a life of partying, he decided to become a shaper and studied under fellow townsman Ryan Lovelace. His surfboards, which incorporate various tastes from the 1960s to 1980s when America was in its prime, are now rapidly gaining popularity.
This fin is a hull flex fin made by Sunrise Boardworks, known for its high quality. With a slightly wider base, stiffer flex and thinner foil, this fin can be used not only for hulls but also as a center fin for many mid-length boards.
