The MPE Flex fin was designed with the help of hull guru Kirk Putnam, and setting the fin towards the front of the fin box gives a looser feeling, while setting it towards the tail gives more stability when turning.
It has a slightly stiffer feel and can be used on heavier boards and in powerful waves, or as a center fin on a regular board.
