Andrew Zinicola is an underground surfboard maker from New Jersey, originally an artist who graduated from art school. http://www.andrew-zinicola.com However, while he was disillusioned with the real art world, he instead became passionate about surfboard making and its history. He makes surfboards inspired by hidden history of the past, and named his own brand "Story Teller". This board was influenced by the Wilderness Surfboard in Australia in the 70's, and added his own idea of a flex tail. The concept is an improvement to make the outer rail of a conventional edge board more usable. In addition, the inner rail line is also given a tiny channel called a chain, which increases the water discharge power like a conventional edge board. The deck has a deck concave to lower the center of gravity during operation, and the flex tail part is laminated with rubber to prevent damage and ensure buoyancy. This is a very different approach to existing edge boards, but this unrecognizable approach makes it reminiscent of the original edge board, the Greenough kneeboard.
Used only once as a test board after arrival. Conventional PU foam with epoxy laminate, so there are almost no foot marks. There are some uneven sanding marks from when it was new. Epoxy resin tint color specification. The rails are equivalent to medium high or down rails on a regular board. Recommended for people weighing around 80kg, this is an edge board for people who are large but want to ride a shorter board length.
