The Edgeboard was born from George Greenough's idea in the 1960s, and has been revived in recent years by Marc Andreni and others. This board is an original model carved by Stu Kenson, who is also known for shaping Joel Tudor's surfboards, for his team riders.
The width and height of the edge are shaped to be more modest to match the board volume, which is slightly more modest than commonly available edge boards. The inside of the edge is single-double-vee, which creates the board's acceleration and turning ability. The speed provided by the modest rocker and the effect of the multi-stage outline of the edge combine to provide speed and turning ability that go beyond the framework of existing board sizes. This board is a used board that has had areas that were noticeably damaged when it arrived repaired by a professional. The deck has foot marks and scratches, and the bottom has one light dent in the center of the board, so it is in good condition to be used as is. This is your chance to try out an edge board that is rarely available on the market at an affordable price.
