True Ames has been making high-quality surfboard fins since 1979, and has a strong presence in the alternative board world today. The 2.6 side bite is a standard used for hull stabilizers, and is currently very difficult to obtain. It reduces water resistance to an extent that is difficult to achieve with a normal 2-tab side fin, while providing a secure hold on the surfboard. It will also have a unique taste as a 1+2 side fin.
