Alex Knost needs no introduction. If I had to add a note, he is an image leader who opened up a new form of single fin longboard revival that started with Joel Tudor, an icon of the alternative surfing scene, a musician who is busy recording and touring, an art center leader, and a shaper. BMT is a "label" that he himself manages, and its origins are completely different from other surfboard brands. This board is a unique mid-length board that Alex has created.
The slender outline, which combines egg and squash tail, has volume from the beak nose to the down rail. In contrast, the volume is cut down in the tail, which is responsible for control. The rails are full edged and harder in the tail, allowing for quick control even when the wave breaks suddenly. The bottom concave is a combination of slight vee that does not hinder the board volume. This combination allows you to both cut through the waves violently and cruise in harmony with the waves.
It shows signs of heavy use, with dents on the deck bottom, traces of self-repair, and small scratches on the glass surface, but it can still be used as is.
