Koz McRae grew up in Santa Barbara surrounded by his uncle who was a shaper and George Greenough who made boats on the roadside. After a life of partying, he decided to become a shaper and studied under fellow townsman Ryan Lovelace. His surfboards, which incorporate various tastes from the 1960s to 1980s when America was in its prime, are now rapidly gaining popularity.
The Lizard King is a high-speed hull that combines the outline and volume of a fish. The reverse vee added to the rear half of the bottom and the edge strengthened around the stabilizer improve the output performance in the tail area.
