Koz McRae grew up in Santa Barbara surrounded by his uncle who was a shaper and George Greenough who made boats on the roadside. After a life of partying, he decided to become a shaper and studied under fellow townsman Ryan Lovelace. His surfboards, which incorporate various tastes from the 1960s to 1980s when America was in its prime, are now rapidly gaining popularity.
The Poseidon Twin, named after the King of the Sea, is a twin fin model that is a step-up board in the Koz lineup. It has fast paddle and take-off and excellent wave holding performance, but also has the ability to cruise on small wave days.
